new in the industry, we have been placing and matching qualified
caregivers and nannies to families since 1997. We know the specifics

How long is the processing time?
The processing time for Live-In
Caregiver Application (HRSDC & CIC) varies. In the summer
time processing time could reach 5 to 6 months. But in
general it is
approximately 3 to 4 months. The estimates we provided our
clients are all estimates and we do not have control over
the processing time delays in HRSDC and CIC.
How do we select our caregivers?
All our candidates are pre-screened. We
instruct them to submit an online application. We conduct a
background employment reference check. Once the employment reference
check is verified. We invite the candidates for a personal interview
and instruct them to provide police clearance and other supporting
documents. A personal interview is done to assess the candidates
language, personal appearance, demeanor, expression.
What are the changes in employing

an employer?
Basically, to follow the contract and be

What are the new requirements by Service
Canada?
Service Canada has new requirement that
employers must advertise for 14 days with Job Bank. Before you can
advertise with Job Bank, you must obtain a Canada Revenue Agency
Business Payroll Account Number. Submit a Recruitment Report and

Citizenship and Immigration
Canada Minister Jason Kenney recently announced on April 01, 2010 proposed changes that would require
employers to pay for the cost of airfare for the Live-In
